What’s inside the report?

Foreword from the Internet Matters board

Our board members BT, Sky, Talk Talk, Virgin Media, BBC and Google share insight on the work we’ve done so far, why it matters our future aspirations.

Reflections from the CEO

Listening and responding to parents' needs

A summary of resources we’ve created based on our research into needs of parents around keeping children safe online. This includes our digital resilience toolkits created with support from our ambassador Dr Linda Papadopolous and our live streaming and vlogging resources sponsored by Huawei.

2017/18 A year in review

A summary of the impact that we’ve had with families based on research we commissioned to measure the changes in knowledge, confidence and behaviour amongst parents once they had visited the website.

Online safety campaigns

A look at how our major online safety campaigns; One word, Stop, Speak, Support and Set Up Safe have helped raise awareness of key issues facing children online.
